Forrest General has Spirit Besides the popularity of Spirit of Women Magazine among physicians and patients across the Spirit hospital network, it's being recognized as a premier media and communication device as well. Recently, Forrest General Hospital of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, was honored at the 18th Annual Maggie Awards ceremony. Sponsored by the Mississippi Hospital Association's Society for Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations, the Maggie Awards were established to recognize excellence in healthcare marketing and public relations efforts in the state of Mississippi. "We are so thrilled with the recognition of this wonderful publication,” said William C. Oliver, CPA, FHFMA, Forrest General Hospital President. Forrest General brought home two awards for their exceptional work with the Spirit of Women Magazine: the 2004 “Best of Show” print award and a “Maggie” award.
